Military Goals:
Some things I aspire to do and achieve. Right now i'm 16 but when I turn 18 I wanna join the US Marine Corps, I also want to go to a University and aim for a Economics & Public Policy Bachelors Degree. My goal is to be an Officer in the Marine Corps and retire as Major or potentially Lt. Colonel. Like i've mentioned on the other tab section, my family is rooted in military and service for this nation. But since I was in 2nd grade, I have always wanted to join the military it just always been a dream since a young age. The branch I wanted to serve in, has obviously changed. I wanted to join the Army then changed my mind to the Air Force but I've settled with the US Marine Corps which my grandfather actually is the reason he was the one that said I should join the USMC he passed away however 3 years ago and he wont see me achieve that goal on Earth. I also aspire to be a marine raider in the middle of my future military career!
My uncle (My moms brother) served in the US Army for four years as an EOD and another 4 years as EOD in the Air Force. Now he's a Anesthesia Resident, Engineer, former Surgeon, and a Lieutenant O-3 in the US Navy 8 years this year. Follow him on Facebook and Tiktok, Zachary Meade as @drzackmd on Instagram and Tiktok.
My Grandfather (My dad's dad) served in the Marine Corps however in a foreign country in Nicaragua in central America. I'm not too sure a lot about his career there, but he came with my grandma in the early 80s legally and made a life in the United States. He completely loved the military and service to the United States. He lived in Miami most of his life and his favorite singers were Johnny Cash, Loretta Lynn, Hank Williams, Kenny Rogers and more same for me! He passed in 2023
My ancestors served since the American Revolution 1770s (My mothers side ofc) and been serving to the present day with ME!

I master a few subjects such as US History and Government/Economics, I also do very well in Writing, but I do not like Reading one of the most boring things other than math, math is be worse. I struggle in math, but in many other subjects I do very well and even master several. I do plan on taking AP US History and AP Seminar along with Pre-AP ELA 3 next year for my junior year of high school, and AP Government/Econ, AP Research, & AP ELA 4 for for my senior year.
Another thing about me is I love fishing I fish every week my favorite is Fresh Water but cant go wrong with Brackish Water. I like to catch Bass, big Blue Gill, Red Drum, Black Drum, any form of Snappers, Catfish for fun, and just any type lol. I hope to buy a boat one day to fish on the water.
I own two dogs Waylon & Cash, Waylon is an American Shepherd and Cash is his half brother he looks more like a Beagle mutt. They were given to me. From my grandparents, I got to pick two of them and of course I've picked them when they were eight weeks old and named them. They were born in April 2025 so they will be one years old this year.
Another thing about me is im always determined to always reach a goal. Something I've done back in 2024 January 1 New Year's is I set a goal to lose weight and I did not disappoint myself. I went from 212 lbs at 14 in January 1, 2024 down to 182 by April 1 2024 and down to 176 in July of 2024. But my weight went back up a little bit then I dropped it and now I'm just trying to lose more again in 2026 im now at 184. I would run 2 miles every single day in 5 miles on Saturday with Sunday being my only break day. Now I usually just run a mile every night every day, but I also ride my bike a few miles a day and I haven't hit the gym in about a few months. I also dont drink soda I've never drank soda as in enjoying it I never liked the super sweet and it kind of just tastes sour so I have never drank any soda in my life I do drink water, of course, and maybe some juice like a Gatorade or a Powerade.
My Hobbies
I've already mentioned I love fishing so but here are other things. I also like to do.
Something I do is I play three instruments, the Violin, Banjo, & Piano but as of now I am learning my fourth instrument my guitar I also later want to learn the saxophone. For my violin I actually do not know how to read music notes so I've picked up on my ear and half the songs I learned were by ear the first half were for Music sheets when I took a few lessons but overtime I actually forgot cause I took a big break and I learned through my ear something I've picked up on with my piano when I was 10 I had my piano when I was 9 then I got my violin at 14 years old and my Banjo at 15. I still have not learned how to play the banjo by ear It's pretty difficult and it's probably not gonna happen anytime soon. I got my guitar just a month ago February 2026.
I love collecting Historical US Coins & Paper Money, I own a $5000 US Currency collection including, 1899 $1 bill, $10 Gold Cerificate from 1923, two 1917 high condition $1 & $2 bills, 1907 $5 bill, four different 1860s Confederate Dollars, along with 1837 & 1877 shiny Silver Half Dollars, 2 Morgans, four large cent coins from 1818, 1829, 1844, & 1851, AND MUCH MORE THAN THOSE!
I also collect baseball cards and basketball and football cards. I have two cards signed by Peyton Manning. I have a collection of almost probably over 4000 baseball cards and sports memorabilia that were passed down from my dad. He collected them in the 80s and 90s. He's got some from the 70s too though he was born in 1980. He gave them to me.
I also collect old vinyl records typically of Loretta Lynn, Johnny Cash, George Jones, Hank Williams sr, Waylon Jennings, Hank Williams jr, Merle Haggard, Johnny Horton, 2Pac and much more ranging from 1940s-2000s.
It's a testimony and a true symbol of my love for US history not only do I like History, but I also buy and collect history and preserve it.

I also love ART I absolutely love drawing things that I like such as historical figures or his historical battles, even landscape scenery, and fishing. Here are some photos I even used to paint. I only painted a few times in 2024 It got hard and I just couldn't keep up. But drawing is something I would always do and I still do. I just cannot color I can only shade and draw.
I know I mentioned I love writing, though the handwriting on these drawings are not great because by the time I finish drawing the pictures, my hand may be strained a bit just tired plus, I don't really have the best handwriting, but I do love drawing and writing still.
But here are three photos on the left and on the very right or my drawings just a couple of them it's hard drawing battles and multiple people but portrait is pretty easy and then the middle is my three paintings three out of eight I've made those are my very first paintings I've made

Who Inspires Me
If I had to pick top 6 people who inspire me here's who I would pick and reason why wether because of humbleness or courage or the willingness to fight for others or even pushing through struggle. And whether I look up to them or I am actually very inspired by them. And just to not be cringe because these names are pretty well known but here they are.
George Washington - His willingness to GIVE UP POWER and step down as the first president and reentering civilian life when he could have been king if he really wanted to. His courage and bravery through the revolution pushing through tough and desperate times from freezing winters to hot summers. His ways of humbleness and courage is still needed in this world and espesially for unity. Definitely one of the greatest men in history.
Abraham Lincoln - Grew up struggling, poor, and with his mother and sister dying before Lincoln hit 16. He worked outside for over 12 hours a day as young boy and was displine and grew to hate slavery. He never attended school and had to teach himself to read & write. Yet he rose to being an amazing Lawyer and one of the greatest men in history and greatest President.
William Sherman - A man who understood the art of war, saved 100,000s of lives with his total war strategy, cutting supplies, taking farm land to weaken and starve the enemy, not to kill them forcing surrender with countless of lives saved each battle. He would free over 30,000 slaves and pushed and basically with the war ended much quicker than expected with many many lives saved.
John F. Kennedy - Stood up for the American People, putting America FIRST, he did'nt submit to foreign lobbyist and bribes, and with him he pushed for tranceparency in the US government espesially the CIA, FBI, & Federal Reserve. But he was sadly cut short. An amazing very young man became president and actually put the American People FIRST!
Fredrick Douglass - Despite being born into slavery, Douglass escaped at age 20 and would be one of the biggest abolitionist in the US along with many more like Lincoln. He would be a very important ally to Lincoln during the Civil War. He helped push for the 13th amendment to abolish slavery and Lincoln did as well. Douglass would go on to be the very FIRST Black American to hold a high Government Office Position such as U.S. Marshal of the District of Columbia and Minister to Haiti. Pushing through immposible challenges and yet managed and made it to the top.
My Uncle Zachary Meade - I dont want to get to personal here, but Lt. in the Navy, a surgeon, anesthisia Resident and a former Engineer & EOD. very powerful things from a common man and in my family.
